Common Faults & Maintenance

I really just have two things to note here. The first is that they use a Varta NiMH CMOS battery, and these batteries leak. Luckily, they're not placed directly over the motherboard. They're hidden by a door in the battery bay and should be removed if original. The second issue worth noting is that the left display hinge is somewhat weak, and the metal hinge itself can snap in some cases.
