Capacitor Reference - PowerBook Duo AC Adapter (M2693)
In addition to the four electrolytic caps listed, some Duo power supplies have a RIFA filter capacitor inside of it that often explodes due to deterioration. A RIFA explosion is unlikely to damage the power supply, but will release nasty smelling smoke everywhere. Definitely at least check to see if your supply has a RIFA cap, and replace it if it does.
