Capacitor Reference - PowerBook 180c

The PowerBook 180c has no electrolytic capacitors on the logic board. This means that the only caps you will have to replace will be those on the Display.

Only replace the LCD caps with electrolytic, polymer, or tantalum. Ceramic caps may introduce contrast drifting problems due to the fact that their capacitance varies based on voltage load.

Reference Values

LCD (Sharp LQ9D01 Series)

This LCD is a recap on sight, even if it's working. The caps ARE leaking (yes, I promise, they are), and this will eventually lead to unrepairable corrosion damage.
