WinBook Honored For After-Sale Service
Hilliard, Ohio, May 21, 1999 WinBook Corporation was honored today by columnist Alf Nucifora of The Atlanta Business Chronicle as one of ten U.S. firms "that go out of their way to make customers happy." WinBook was the only computer manufacturer selected.
WinBook was praised for "no hassles on returns; no long waits on the phone for technical support; help from a live, knowledgeable person, willing to assist a neophyte; a highly responsive pickup and delivery service via FedEx; and a simplified tracking and reporting system that kept me posted on the status." Atlanta Business Journal attributed WinBooks outstanding customer service to "obsessivenes, consistency, measurement, and training."
Previously, PC Worlds 1.2 million readers selected WinBook as one of only five notebook manufacturers to receive their highest rating for service (11/98). WinBook tied for four-star honors with Dell, Gateway, Micron, and Toshiba, and scored higher than Acer, Compaq, Fujitsu, H-P, Hitachi, IBM, and NEC.
