Samsung still manufactures laptops today under their Galaxy Book brand, but they've actually been doing it since at least 1990. The history of Samsung laptops in the US is a bit rocky - they went in and out of the US market over the years. For the time being, this page will cover the NoteMaster and early SENS laptops from the 1990s. I will likely expand into the 2000s at some point in the future, but that's going to take a lot of research as they were not sold in the United States during that time.
This currently doesn't include the SAMTRON and other luggables Samsung made.

It seems the Sens Pro 520 was the last laptop Samsung sold in the US before pulling out of the American market for many years. They weren't fully out though - in 1999, MicronPC/MPC began selling rebadged Samsung laptops, starting with the TransPort ZX. They would sell Samsung laptops for a number of years, I'm not quite sure exactly when they stopped, but MPC went out of business in 2008.
