The NoteMaster 486P (also known by the model number S3945T) is a 486-based laptop released in 1994. These were also sold by AT&T as both the Safari 3151 and the Globalyst 200.

These laptops are fairly well built and reliable, at least as far as I can tell. I've yet to see a hinge failure but that may still happen. The biggest issue these will have is that the VARTA CMOS battery will leak and eventually break something. It's located above the hard drive bay and NOT right over the motherboard, but the corrosion can and will still wick its way over with enough time. Get it out ASAP.
