ECS Green736

ECS Green736 - Home

The ECS Green736 is a Pentium 4 desktop replacement laptop, released in 2003. The Green736 was the final laptop in the Green73x series, and the fastest. This one also had widescreen display options, and I'm not sure what those models looked like. They may have been similar to the Green732 16-inch, which was a weird and short-lived version of the Green732 with an oversized lid and fold-out speakers, but I don't think the Green732 16-inch was widescreen.

The Green736 was definitely affected by the lead-free solder plague of the 2000s, and GPU failures appear to be common due to cracked solder joints. I suspect the earlier models in the series (like the Green732) are also affected, but this one definitely is.

The Green736 was sold by Gericom, and likely others.
