The ECS Green550 (also known as the G550) is a Pentium 4M-based laptop, released in late 2002. It was sold by WinBook as the X4.
The X4's rear LCD cover is made from Aluminum, so hinge failures are way less likely on a Green550 than on laptops with plastic lids.
