Case Model: PP01S
The Inspiron 2000 is a subnotebook, probably released in 1999. It is a clone of the Latitude LS with styling changes. I was unable to locate this one on Dell's archived website in the WayBack Machine, and it appears to be rare, so I don't think this one was sold in the US.

Like other Inspiron laptops that are Latitude clones, the 2000's dock connector appears to be locked out by the BIOS. The connector is present, but the BIOS will prevent docks from working. In other such Inspirons, the Latitude BIOS can be flashed to enable dock support. The same may or may not be possible on the Inspiron 2000.
