The 1/2AA Lithium PRAM battery in the 950 is very prone to leaking and should be removed. It does not need to be replaced on this model for the computer to operate.
The 950's logic board uses all solid-state capacitors, so you do not need to replace any if yours is working. The power supply may still need recapping.
