The Alkaline PRAM battery in the 630 is very prone to leaking and should be removed. It does not need to be replaced on this model for the computer to operate.
The 630's logic board uses electrolytic capacitors that often fail and leak. I would highly, highly recommend replacing them. The power supply also often needs recapping.
