The Macintosh Quadra 605 is a 68040-based desktop "pizza-box" computer that was released in October 1993. It is essentially the same computer as the LC 475.

PRAM Battery Leaks
The Lithium PRAM battery in the 605 is very prone to leaking and should be removed.
Capacitors
The 605's logic board uses electrolytic capacitors that often fail and leak. I would highly, highly recommend replacing them. The power supply also often needs recapping.
