The Macintosh IIci was introduced in September of 1989. It is very similar to the IIcx, but with a faster clocked processor.

The Macintosh IIci is a highly upgradable system. It has 3 NuBus expansion slots which can take networking cards, video cards, and more.
Processor Upgrades
Processor Upgrades were available to upgrade a IIci to a 40MHz 68040 processor.
Macintosh IIci Accessories
The Macintosh IIci would have been paired with the original Apple Desktop Bus keyboard (or extended version) and mouse.
