The Macintosh Classic was introduced in 1990.
You can put up to 4MB of RAM in a Mac Classic, installed in 2 30-pin SIMM slots on a proprietary expansion card.
See our page on SCSI Solid State Devices for more info.
The Mac Classic doesn't have any PDS or NuBus card slots, and it also doesn't have an upgradable processor. It was a simple Mac, and as such, not many fancy upgrades were designed for it, unlike the SE/30 and other Compacts.
