Welcome to the ZEOS Homepage on MacDat!

ZEOS was a US-based computer manufacturer that was based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. They sold a number of laptop computers, most of which were manufactured for them by Quanta and Sanyo. In 1995, they acquired Micron Computer, Inc. and Micron Custom Manufacturing Services, Inc., two divisions of memory manufacturer Micron Technologies, via a reverse takeover. This made ZEOS a part of Micron, with Micron Electronics being the surviving brand. As such, Micron Electronics first laptop, the Millennia TransPort, could be viewed as a successor to ZEOS's last laptop, the Meridian 850. Both were manufactured by Sanyo.
