Zenith Z-Star ES
The Z-Star ES is a 486-based laptop, released in 1995 by Zenith Data Systems. This laptop was only known as the Z-Star ES in Europe. US models are only labelled "Z-Star" without the ES, with the model number ZPR-6950-KI on the base. They are the same computer.
This laptop was manufactured by Chicony, and was known by Chicony as the SE7 or SE7D. I believe this laptop was exclusive to Zenith.
The laptop has a single modular bay that appears to hold the floppy drive or a battery. The laptop also has a separate battery bay that appears to use standard batteries, something around the size of AAs(!). That's an uncommon feature, especially for a 486 laptop.
