Veridata MegaPro 486

The Veridata MegaPro 486 is a 486-based generic/ODM laptop that was released in 1994. There were two distinct versions of this laptop - one with a trackball, and one with a trackpad. The one with a trackpad uses a different video chip and adds support for 5x86 processors, along with possibly other changes. The trackpad version was released in 1995.

I really am missing a fair bit of information on these, so if you own one and can fill in any of the blanks, I'd really appreciate it. At this time, I can only confirm that the trackpad version was called the MegaPro 486 by Veridata. I don't have a name for the nearly identical trackball version, so I'm grouping them together here. The only Veridata-branded one I've seen was for sale in China. Here's a list of other brands/names they were sold under:
