Veridata CyberNote 953
The Veridata Cybernote 953 is a Pentium-based generic/ODM laptop that was released in mid 1996.
Veridata at this time was owned by CTX International. The vast majority of CyberNote 953s as such are those that were sold by CTX as the EzBook 700. Even Veridata's website calls it the EzBook 700 in many places.
However, some generic units were sold, and I've also seen one branded by some company called "Lap Power".

Hinge damage caused by poor design. Every one of these laptops will have this failure on both sides if not structurally reinforced.
