The Twinhead Slimnote 9TE, also known as the Twinhead P79TE, is a Pentium MMX-based laptop that was released in 1998. The WinBook XL is a modified version of this laptop.

Common Faults & Maintenance
The plastics on this laptop are brittle and as such, prone to cracking near the display hinges. Otherwise, these seem to be quite reliable. They don't use any Varta battery.
