Twinhead Slimnote 8 (P75)
The Slimnote 8 Series (also known by the model number P75) is a Pentium-based laptop that was released in 1995. This laptop shares essentially the same physical design as the 486/5x86-based Slimnote 6, which also released in 1995. The two machines were Twinhead's first laptops with integrated CD-ROM drives.

Common Faults & Maintenance
These laptops suffer from the common issue of brittle plastic, with the plastic around the hinges at the display housing breaking. This will happen on any Slimnote 8 and will require heavy reinforcement with epoxy to remain intact. Aside from this, they seem to be fairly reliable. I don't think they have any Varta battery inside. In fact, despite having extensive internal photos of this machine, I cannot spot a CMOS battery anywhere. I think one of the capacitors on the DC/DC board is a supercap that is used as one, like some other Twinhead laptops did.
