The Smart D&M S-3200 is a 386-based generic/ODM laptop that was released in 1992. It is very likely to be the first laptop that Smart D&M manufactured.
The one S-3200 I've seen in the wild was sold by an Italian company called ANTEA SHD. In addition to their branding, it also had the "Smart-Tec" logo printed on it, which was another name that Smart D&M often went by. I was later able to locate a print ad from ANTEA SHD showing this laptop for sale.
This laptop was never FCC registered as far as I can tell, so it likely wasn't sold in the United States.
Like their later laptops, the S-3200 is a very modular laptop that was built to be very upgradeable.
