The Smart D&M NX-9900 is a 486-based generic/ODM laptop that was released in 1994. It uses desktop CPUs and RAM. I'd assume that the 8 and 16-bit sound card options were an ESS AudioDrive 488 and 688 respectively, but that's not currently confirmed.
