The NoteMaster 386S/25 is a laptop based on the AMD 80386SXL processor, released in 1992. For its time, the 386S/25 was a fairly lightweight system. It weighed 5.8 pounds. One unique feature the 386S/25 has is its ability to run off of standard AA batteries. This seemingly required a special battery caddy of some sort, so I don't think you can just stick the AAs in. The laptop came standard with a rechargeable NiCad pack. It was also able to stay running while the main battery was swapped out, meaning it likely had a reserve battery inside.
