NEC sold the UltraLite line of laptops from 1988-1993, and the Versa line of laptops from 1993 to roughly 2002, when they exited the US laptop market. They continued selling the Versa line in other markets, including Europe and their local market of Japan. NEC still sells laptops in Japan as of 2025. Some of them are rebadged Lenovo products, while others appear to be original designs?

NEC Ready

These were sold by a different division of the company, I believe more closer related to Packard Bell (which NEC bought). All of these models were manufactured by Alpha-Top, except for the 120LT which was manufactured by Uniwill.
