The NP-943 is a generic/ODM 486-based notebook that was released in around August 1992. Modern Computer sold these under the NoteStar name, which was their trademark. It may have also been sold under the Walkom name, another MCC trademark.
Like the rest of the NP-900 Series, this laptop's two battery bays double as expansion bays that could accept a variety of modules.
