The TransPort E-475M is a Core 2 Duo-based laptop that was released sometime between August 2007 and May 2008. The was one of the final MPC laptops, released when they were spiraling towards bankruptcy. It is literally just a Gateway laptop with an MPC logo slapped on it - the Gateway logos are still there. So, the only difference between a Gateway E-475M and an MPC TransPort E-475M is that the MPC version has a couple logos on the housing and a different logo in the BIOS.
This laptop was manufactured for Gateway by Quanta - that's where the "QA1" model number on the bottom comes from.
