Kapok 9600 Series
The Kapok 9600 Series (9600M, 9600D, 9600T, FCC ID L4PK9800) are Pentium-based laptops, released in 1995. The 9600 is essentially an updated Pentium version of the Nan Tan 9200. The different models indicate the LCD type - the 9600M is grayscale, the 9600D is DSTN color, and the 9600T is TFT color. The one unit I have internal photos of has a Cyrix 5x86 heatsink, but the same laptop ID'd as having a 100MHz Pentium, so I believe someone just stuck a Cyrix heatsink on it at some point. All marketing material for these shows them as having Pentium CPUs.
As with other Kapok laptops, these were sold by many different companies, and some were sold as generic with no branding. Below is a list of laptops that are rebranded 9600s:
