The Kapok 8200 (also known as the FMA8200) is a 486-based laptop that was released in 1993. While commonly called a Nan Tan, this was actually the first laptop manufactured by Nan Tan's sub-division Kapok.
Chicony may have also played a role in designing the 8200, as they listed an identical looking laptop on their website at one point called the "NB9800". Both companies have an FCC record for the respective model numbers mentioned. A couple 8200's with the model number NB9800 (or NB9800A) printed on the bottom have shown up on eBay, but they retain the Nan Tan FCC ID.
