IBM ThinkPad i Series 1720/1721

IBM Type 2627

The ThinkPad i Series 1720 and 1721 are Pentium III-based laptops that were released in November 1998 and January 1999 respectively. They are based on the ThinkPad 390 chassis. Of the i Series notebooks which were rebadges rather than bespoke models, this is the only one sold outside of Japan as far as I'm aware. In fact, I don't think they were sold in Japan.
