IBM ThinkPad 700T

The ThinkPad 700T is a 386-based tablet computer that was released in April 1992. It was the first product from IBM to bear the ThinkPad name, being released months before the 300, 700, and 700C laptops.

The April release was limited to developers, with these units being called the "IBM Type 2521 ThinkPad". In October, alongside the aforementioned laptop models, it saw a general public release, now being named the ThinkPad 700T.

In March 1993, only 5 months after its public release, the 700T was replaced by the more refined 710T model.
