The HyperBook 300 is a 486-based laptop that was released in August 1993. It was essentially a spec-bumped version of the HyperBook 3000 Series from the year before. This laptop was sold under Sunrex's HyperData and InnovACE brand names. I've also seen one that was just generically badged "NoteBook Computer 486 Series". There is also a possibility that you could find one branded "SunRace".
The HyperBook 300 was one of a few Sunrex laptops to feature the infamous palmrest number pad. According to an archived Sunrex website, these were available with pen-touch support. I've yet to see one with it.

These laptops suffer from brittle plastic and hinge failure. You'll likely have to add some epoxy to reinforce one if you own one.
