The OmniBook 2000 is a Pentium-based laptop that was released around July 1997. 2000CS models have passive matrix screens while 2000CT models have active matrix screens. I believe these laptops were manufactured by Twinhead, based off of a custom design.

These laptops seem to be fairly reliable, but they used one of the worst hinge mount designs I've ever seen, and now, like most laptops from this time, the plastics are very brittle. Due to this, all of these will suffer from hinge failure if the hinges are used. It's probably possible to fix this with enough epoxy, but I haven't gotten my hands on one yet to try and see.
