The HIGHSCREEN Colani BlueNote is a 486-based laptop that was probably released in 1993 (1994 at the latest). This laptop's case was apparantly designed by Luigi Colani, thus the name. That being said, I'm pretty sure that it was a heavily modified Nan Tan 8200, a generic/ODM Taiwanese laptop that released the same year. If you look at the two, they're very similar. The internal layout is similar as well. The HIGHSCREEN brand was part of Vobis, a German computer company. As such, the BlueNote was only sold in Europe, so it doesn't have any FCC ID that can be used to identify the original manufacturer for certain.

The NiCad CMOS battery in the BlueNote is very prone to leaking and will cause damage to the motherboard very easily. Pull the battery ASAP if you own one.
