The Gateway2000 Solo is a Pentium-based laptop that was released in 1995. This model is usually called the "Solo P3C" as it has the model number P3C on the bottom. Gateway just called it the "Solo" since it was the first one. It was also called the "Solo (R0)" on the Gateway support website.
The original Solo was manufactured for Gateway by Sotec, but was a custom design made exclusively for Gateway.
