The Featron FT-4000 is a 486-based generic/ODM laptop that was released in 1994. There were multiple revisions of this laptop. Some only supported 486 processors up to the DX2-66, while others appear to have supported up to the DX4-100. Some have a series of LED indicator lights between the screen hinges, while others have a status LCD instead.
Later, Featron released the FT-4000F. I believe the 4000F was the only version that supported 5x86 processors, and the only one to ship with a trackpad (optional).
The following laptops are rebadged FT-4000s:
These specs are for the original revision FT-4000 that doesn't support DX4 chips. I don't yet know if the DX4-compatible revision has any other changes aside from CPU support.
