Epson sold numerous laptops and portables in the US from the 1980s through 1996. Their HX-20, released in 1982, is often credited as the first laptop computer, although it didn't have a clamshell design.
Epson's US laptop range included the Equity and ActionNote lines, and maybe some others, not sure yet. Epson left the US laptop market around 1996, but they continued to sell their Endeavor line in the Asian market, up through at least 6th gen Intel.
For now, this page will only cover the ActionNote. I will expand to the Equity series in the future.
