Dell Precision M65
The Precision M65 is a Socket M-based mobile workstation laptop that was released by Dell in 2006. The M65 is essentially just a souped-up Latitude D820.

Common Faults & Maintenance
GPU Failure
The M65's NVIDIA Quadro GPU is affected by "bumpgate", and as such is highly prone to failure. Every M65 video chip is faulty in this way and will eventually fail with enough use. As the chip itself is defective, reballing it will not fix it. The best way to extend the lifespan of the GPU is to ensure that it is running as cool as possible. If you have an M65 with a failed GPU, a reflow can temporarily bring it back to life.
