The Latitude C610 is a 14-inch Pentium III-based business laptop that was released in October 2001. It succeeded the C600, with new features including faster Tualatin Pentium III processors, faster graphics, and faster memory. It remained on sale long past the introduction of its own successor, the C640, being discontinued some time between August and October 2003.
The C610 was also sold with altered styling as the Inspiron 4100.

The Varta NiMH CMOS battery in the C610 is highly prone to leaking and should be removed from every single C610 if original. The battery is under the keyboard and placed directly over the motherboard, which means even a small leak can be catastrophic.
The LCD lid latch mechanism on the C610 wears out easily and often stops working.
