Common Faults & Maintenance

Brittle Plastic

The plastics on the 386s/20 are brittle and due to this, the hinge mounts and/or the housing around them will crack and fail. Epoxy will be required to keep one of these intact.

Capacitor Failure

I believe there are electrolytic caps inside these that fail and leak. I'd highly recommend recapping one of these if you own one.
