The Arima AN586 and GN586 are Pentium-based generic/ODM laptops that were released in 1996. They both share the same design and seemingly nearly identical specifications - they both released around the same time. I don't know the exact differences currently.

This laptop suffers from brittle plastic, which causes cracks to form near the display hinges. Reinforcement with JB Weld or another epoxy will be required to keep one intact.
