Alpha-Top Green799

The Green799 is a 13.3" generic/ODM laptop, based on the Pentium III processor. It shares a nearly identical case to the Green720, which was sold as the WinBook J1, but the Green799 is smaller. Most specs are shared aside from the size. The Green799 was sold by Hyperdata as the Mediago 2600, and by LEO as the DESIGNote 3830.

This laptop's most interesting trait should be the CPUs it uses, which should be desktop Pentium III Coppermine chips. This is assuming that the Green799 uses the same CPUs that the Green720 does, which I strongly believe (my WinBook J1/Green720 even identifies as a Green799 in CPU-Z). On my Green720, the CPU is soldered, so my guess would be that the Green799 has it soldered too. Specsheets for the Green799 that I've found also state they use desktop processors (FC-PGA and PGA). The Green720/799 are the only laptops I know of right now that use such a setup.

The sound chip this laptop has is DOS-compatible, but based on a video I watched that demoed this chip in games, the compatibility isn't very good.
