MacDat Development Timeline

Pre-Launch Days (September 2021-April 2022)

It's occurred to me that I no longer remember how I got the idea for MacDat. From what I remember, it just seemed like the logical thing to make once I started learning HTML. What I do have is a timeline for how things started.

• September 1st, 2021: Idea is born as I made a rough page on removing PRAM batteries, using code.org Web Lab.
• Unknown date: Rough concept built using FrontPage on my HP TC1100.
• September 8th, 2021: First "official" lines of code written for what would become this site.
• September 9-10, 2021: Revision history page created on the 9th, logging began on the 10th.
• September 17th, 2021: Original navy blue and gold color scheme was created.
